Koi and Natural Fence

Koi grown up from a minnow, photo from last September.
They are all dormant now. I hope they survive another winter.
They are smart, hardy and fun fish. I wanted to take them out for the
winter but as soon as the
water cooled off they went deep and never came up again.
I was adjsuting the bubbler when a startled Koi came up and then drifted down again.





I like building natural fences. The art of it and problem solving is very rewarding. Not everyone appreciates it but many think its beautiful. Next summer I'll take more time and completely surround the orchard. It is very tall and keeps out the deer.
