Bees Come to SouthWoods

Using the Ford 2000 tractor, Larry Hill brings in the Hives

Doors are opened and the bees are introduced to their new home.

Twelve Hives in all

The Hive has 9 hangers in each box.
Each hanger will hold 6 pounds of honey.

Each bee lives about two weeks and makes a 1/4 teaspoon of honey.
