A group of Permaculture Instructors are in Sandstone,MN this week getting special training from Dave Jacke (of  http://www.edibleforestgardens.com/ fame).   The instructors will then come to Duluth on Saturday, at the end of their training, to share their knowledge. PERMACULTURE FOR EVERYONE: DULUTH WORKSHOP   (Saturday, March 27th,  UMD)

Renew your hope and enthusiasm! Connect with others who are actively seeking local solutions to global issues.  Discuss positive actions you can take in your own life and community.  

A diverse group of permaculturists from across North America will visit Duluth to present a full day of concurrent 90-minute classes covering different permaculture topics.  Participants will attend three classes of their choice.

The classes will present concrete, practical approaches to meeting our basic human needs locally and sustainably, turning different "wastes" into useful products, regenerating healthy communities, and reinvigorating the local economy.  The presenters will showcase creative and non-traditional learning and teaching methods.   

WHEN: Saturday, March 27, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

WHERE: Room 16, Education (EduE) Building, University of Minnesota - Duluth. 

WORKSHOP FEE: $15.
