Two of My Favorite Things
The timer on the left uses no battery and has a crank timer for up to 120 minutes of watering. I just walk out the door and turn it to the minutes of watering I want. It never waters when I don't want it to like electric schedule timers.
Comfrey is my plant of choice for understory of fruit trees. Using chop and drop technique it is the green manure that never fails. Easily split like Hostas. It April 30th and the first crop is almost ready to harvest and split.
