Biome Redistribution Under Climate Change
The boreal forest in all models retreats towards or into Canada. Prairie expands to the eastern borders of Minnesota and into Wisconsin. Desert expands into Texas and/or shrub lands move West. Savannah and grasslands take over large portions of the South East as the large mixed forest is fractured. South West desert lands expand north and east.
