Help Support Sustainable Farming in Haiti.

Mindful Generations is a 501c3 non-profit that specializes in training farmers in sustainable practices so that they in turn can teach their communities these cost and soil saving techniques. Agriculture is the basis of economic development in all countries. When farmers prosper, the local economy benefits, and the health of it’s residents improves.
The earth is a gift and the farmers are the chosen people to care for it. As they care for the land they are caring for all that live near them. They are intelligent and insightful. Their hearts hear the need and they stand ready to accept the work ahead of them. They share their insight with other farmers and all of us prosper.
At Mindful Generations we believe the Local Farmers can feed the people as they improve their soil’s fertility. By teaching the farmers “How to Fish” or how to keep the soil healthy with little or no cost for in-put, their soils can produce for generations to come. We stress water holding/saving practices that extend the growing season and
increasing productivity. The farmers build natural capital that supports their future as farmers. They enrich the soil with each crop, not diminish it. Using permaculture principles and ethics the farmers learn to cycle nutrients and catch and store tha natural energy that passes through their land.
In Kenya, Haiti, and around the world, there are beautiful people looking for a solid vision of the future. Mindful Generations offers more than hope, we offer absolute abundance using proven ecological solutions and cultural practices. Skills an knowledge that fills a community with ever growing resources.
